This is the second in the “Found Treasures” series - the sort of artifacts and found objects that are hoarded in shoe boxes by 10 year olds as they start to explore the world and their own independence. It’s a reminder of just how magnificent nature’s detritus can be, and the kids who can still appreciate it.
This piece pushes the boundaries of size and complexity.
Fun fact: this piece is removable from its frame. It’s locked in place at four points with neodymium magnets, and can be removed and replaced for safe transportation and cleaning.
