My art is based in layers. I build images and structures layer by layer. It takes a lot of time.
It seems that I was not the first to do this. Like many of you budding petrologists, I collect interesting rocks on hikes or when I travel. My favourites are the striated sedimentary rocks. These layered beauties take even longer to create.
